Meghana Raj is on a high after working in Rakesh Gopan’s 100 Degree Celsius. The thriller, which stars Shwetha Menon, Ananya and Bhamaa besides herself, is a woman centric film which revolves around the four women characters. “The shooting for the film was a blast,” recalls Meghana, adding that its director won’t be taking a woman centric film again. “He was one man pitted against four women and had to suffer a lot.
But he is a gem of a person,” she says and adds that it’s a misconception that four actresses in a film mean catfights.
“I myself was under that impression and so, on day one, we were all a bit cold with each other. But very soon, we realised that we were all here to enjoy and then the real fun began. It was like a girls’ night out.” And who was the livewire? “Shwetha chechi, beyond all doubts. She is the one who livens up things. And she is a genuine person, there are no two faces to her and that’s why we all like her,” says Meghana.
The four women play flatmates whose lives turn upside down following an incident involving Meghana Raj’s character. “Each of them gets affected by it and the film is all about how they deal with it,” says Meghana.
