Ramya Pandian is said to have joined the sets of the film and the netizens have shared a picture of her on the sets of ‘Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam’. Ramya Pandian has been part of several superhit Tamil films such as ‘Joker’, ‘Aan Devathai’ etc and was also a contestant in the 4rth season of the
Bigg Boss Tamil reality show. The current shooting schedule of ‘Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam’ is going on in Pazhani. The film is slated to be made in both Malayalam and Tamil languages. The cinematographer of the film is Theni Eashwar.

Recently Malayalam actor Ashokan also joined the cast of the film and is reportedly said to be playing one of the pivotal characters in the film. The last time Mammootty and Ashokan shared screen space was for the movie ‘Amaram’ which was released in the year 1991. Ashokan has shared his excitement in working with Mammootty after a long 30 years and also for having a major role in the mastercraftsman Lijo Jose Pellissery’s film, through social media.
Lijo Jose Pellissery is known for his talent in crafting perfectly balanced storylines and characters that all have an international touch. His previous film ‘Angamaly Diaries’,’ Jallikattu’, ‘Amen’, are all examples to prove how magnificent he is at creating unique films with a raw touch. Now that the director Lijo Jose Pellissery is teaming up with the legendary actor Mammootty for his upcoming film ‘Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam’, the expectation levels of the audience are really high.
