Ranjith's next titled Puthenpannam?

Rumours were rife that Ranjith's next movie with Mammootty would be titled

Vamban

. However, the director informed us that that will not be the title of his upcoming movie.

Now, reports suggest that the movie will be called Puthenpannam (The New Indian Rupee) and it would revolved around the theme of black money. It's also touted to be an action thriller.

Mammootty, meanwhile, has a few days of shooting left of The Great Father, which is directed by debutant Haneef Mohammed, and is also a family drama cum thriller.
