‘Rekhachithram’ box office collections day 6: Asif Ali starrer collects Rs 30 crores worldwide

Asif Ali’s 2025 debut film ‘Rekhachithram’ is turning out to be a massive blockbuster as the film has already collected Rs 30 crores worldwide.


According to the Sacnilk website, the 30 crores worldwide collections have been made within just 6 days, and the India Net collections for the film amount to Rs 15.16 crore. India's Gross collections stand at Rs 15.25 crore and the Overseas collections are Rs 14.75 crore.



Coming to the Kerala box office, ‘Rekhachithram’ has collected Rs 15.16 crore from Malayalam, and on day 6 the film made a high of Rs 2.06 crore as per the early estimates. The movie opened at the Kerala box office with a decent Rs 1.9 crore and was followed by Rs 2.2 crore, Rs 3.3 crore, Rs 3.75 crore, Rs 1.95 crore and Rs 2.06 crore.


Even though the Asif Ali starrer saw a dip on day 5, the movie picked up so fast on its very next day, raking in Rs 2.06 crores on day 6.


Apart from Asif Ali, ‘Rekhachithram’ which is directed by Jofin T Chacko, also features the actors Anaswara Rajan, Manoj K Jayan, and Siddique in pivotal roles.


ETimes review for the movie reads, “Rekhachithram is a subtle and remarkably interlinked film that has been made with considerable research. It is an investigation story where a puzzle is put together from the very beginning, and it's a rewarding watch too. There are some gripes about the 'need' for certain scenes and elements, but, overall, Jofin T Chacko has delivered a solid film.”
