He was one of the best talent mostly under utilized . since the number of films he did were mostly commercial aimed at box office , the movies he performed brilliantly go unnoticed. people talk aloy about iruttinte atmaavu and then straight away to padayottam .It was not so. There were many movies like achani, bharyayum kaamukiyum, kallichellamma, nizhalaattam, bhaargavinilayam , adimakal, snehathinte mukhangal, dharmayudham, murappennu, agniputri, dhwani to name a few.what way his acting was less in themmaadi velappan or innale innu with mammootty''s thoppil joppan or some thing like that? In his time , most of the national awards were for the men in hindi/bengali movies..it was fixed ...else why his performance in adimakal , iruttinte atmaavu . achaani , padayottam etc went without a national award?during Onam or vishu time all the theaters in kerala ran with his various movies ..this trend is never saw with any of the actors came after him . though he did lot of commercial films more, it made the malayalam film industry help to grow to its present status. and many small actors or technicians life was depending on this single man.now thats a foregone chapter. even after 30 years people love Premnazir ...that itself proves how great he was ..other mega/complete actors will become obsolute.. but he will be remembered for ever...!!Read allPost comment
