) to pay homage to veteran late actress KPAC Lalitha. The Regional International Film Festival of Kerala (RIFFK) is scheduled to be held in Kochi from the 1st of April to the 5th.

’, will be screened, on the fourth day of RIFFK, to celebrate the impeccable contribution late KPAC Lalitha has done to Malayalam cinema.

’s Shantham (2001) will be screened. KPAC Lalitha was awarded the National Award for Best Supporting Actress for her intense performance in the film as a mother struck with grief over the death of her son. Madambu Kunjukuttan won the National Film Award for Best Screenplay in 2000 for Jayaraj’s Karunam, collaborated with him again for this film and wrote the screenplay,” a statement published on the film festival’s official Facebook page read.

Meanwhile, the 26th International Film Festival 2022 has come to a magnificent end on Friday (Mar 25), and Nawazuddin Siddiqui was the chief guest at the closing ceremony.
