Riyaz Khan to pair with Kannada actress Ragini Dwivedi for the film ‘Sheela’

Actor Riyaz Khan will be seen playing a prominent lead in the upcoming bilingual film which is titled ‘Sheela’ by sharing screen space with the popular Kannada actress Ragini Dwivedi. The pooja function for the film was held in Kuttikkanam, Kottayam and the film is written and directed by the debutant director Balu Narayanan. The cast list of the film ‘Sheela’ includes Sunil Sukhada, Vincent Alappat, Pradosh Mohan, Muhammad Irfan, Babitha Basheer, Uthara Ganga, Siji Gopinath, etc.The music of the film will be composed by Aloshya Peter, and the editing section will be handled by Kiran Das. Cinematography for the film will be done by Arun Kuthedath and make-up by Santhosh Venpakal.

The story of ‘Sheela’ revolves around a girl named Sheela who reaches Kerala in solution for a serious issue that she has faced in Bangalore. Actor Riyaz Khan debuted in the film industry with the Tamil film ‘Atma’ which was written and directed by Prathap Pothen and was released in the year 1993. He also played major roles in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi films. His antagonist role in the Mohanlal starrer film ‘Balettan’ which was released in the year 2003, got much appreciation from the audience. Riyaz Khan has several ambitious projects in his bag such as Mani Ratnam’s ‘Ponniyin Selvan’, ‘Power Star’ ‘Kerala Express’ etc.
