Roopesh Peethambaran joins Anson Paul’s The Gambler

The shooting of Mollywood actor Anson Paul’s superhero film The Gambler is currently progressing, and the latest to join the cast of the film is director-actor Roopesh Peethambaran.

Roopesh will be playing police officer Sathish Chandran IPS in the film, directed by Tom Emmatty of Oru Mexican Aparatha fame. Sijoy Varghese and Joseph Annamkutty Jose are also part of the cast.

On the movie, the director had earlier told us, ““We will be introducing a superhero character through the film. His weapons are playing cards and that’s what he uses to fight the villains. The movie is based on a real story but we have obviously fictionalised the tale to make into a superhero film.”
