Roshan Mathew and Visakh Nair reunite in Matchbox

introduced a host of new faces and two of its actors –

Visakh Nair

and Roshan Mathew – have been picked most by filmmakers for their ventures. The duo will next be seen together in debutant filmmaker Sivaram Mony’s

Matchbox

.

The filmmaker tells us, “It’s a youth-oriented film that talks about romance and friendships. Vishak and Roshan play Ashok Raj and Ambu respectively. They represent the youth of today and though the story is set in the suburbs, they also have an urban influence.”

The movie has

Drishya

of Happy Wedding fame as the lead actress, along with Asokan, Shammi Thilakan and Rony as part of the supporting cast. The film will also have newcomers Mathew Joy Mathew and Joe Chacko, who complete the gang of friends led by Roshan and Visakh’s characters.

“A major thread of the film is about their friendships and how they help each other out during a particular crisis,” says Sivaram. The team is currently shooting for the movie in Kozhikode.
