Sidharth Bharathan’s directorial ‘Chathuram’ featuring Roshan Mathew and Swasika Vijay in the lead roles, has finally locked its release date. The film will hit the cinemas this Friday (Nov 4), and the makers have also launched the trailer.
“Happy to announce the theatrical release date of #chathuram_square is on November 4th. THE WAY MOVIES WERE MEANT TO BE SEEN! See you all at the theatres on Nov 4th,” the director said in his social media post.
“Chathuram set to entice you at theatres from 4th of November. Immensely grateful to Mammukka for releasing the trailer. Lots of hugs and love to all the others for sharing #chathuram_square trailer. See you in theatres on Nov 4th,” Sidharth Bharathan said, announcing the release date, and launching the trailer.
Swasika Vijay too shared the trailer on social media and said, “Every wound has a scar and every scar tells a story” Best wishes to Sidharth Bharathan and entire team Chathuram for their theatrical release on Nov 4th,” she penned.
In a previous interview with ETimes, Swasika Vijay opened up about her character and the film. “There is a way a woman needs to be respected and treated, be it mentally or physically. And our film talks about how women react when they are ill-treated. The film travels through the life of a woman - Selena, whom I am playing, and how she interacts and responds to the people and circumstances she meets with. The characters in the film are not ultimately good or evil, they all are fighting for what they think is right,” she said.
