Saif makes work seem like fun: Isha on B-Town debut
Four years ago, actress Isha Talwar made her silver screen debut, as the pretty Aisha of
The excited actress tells us, 'I am over the moon!' The film, directed by Akshat Verma, writer of Delhi Belly, narrates the tale of different people in three stories. 'I am in one of them, cast opposite Saif. We have completed ten days of shoot. I'm afraid we should wait till its official announcement to disclose more about my role or working with the team,' she adds.
On her experience of sharing screen space with Saif, Isha says, 'I have always been fond of Saif Ali Khan and so when they narrated the script to me, I took it up without thinking twice. I thought I would get nervous, but Saif is a comfortable actor to work with, and all my nervousness disappeared. It was more of fun after that.'
So, is Aisha bidding goodbye to Mollywood? 'No! Never. The Malayalam film industry made me an actress. I am just dying to work here again. It's just that I am not getting the right projects,' she says, adding that it's the exposure she received from the South Indian film industries that paved the way for her Hindi film.
The movie, which is set in Mumbai, has been tentatively titled Kaala Gandi and features many prominent stars from Bollywood.
