Sakhavu gets a clean U certificate

Nivin Pauly’s upcoming political drama, ‘

Sakhavu

’ gets a clean ‘U’ certificate from the censor board.The actor took to his official social networking page to announce the film's censor board certification recently. He posted the photo of the certificate with a tag line “Sakhavu Censored with Clean 'U' Certificate :) (sic)”.
The film written and directed by award-winning Sidhartha Siva is gearing up to hit the screens this Vishu, April 15. The film is about how a comrade aka ‘sakhavu’ should be and explores the lives of comrades Krishnan and Krishna Kumar played by Nivin in two different timelines.

While Aishwarya Rajesh plays the female protagonist,

Gayathri Suresh

will appear in a supporting role, as a nurse.
