Sanal Kumar Sasidharan is at The Tokyo FILMex with Chola

Director Sanal Kumar Sasidharan in now in Japan to be part of the Tokyo Filmex International Film Festival. The filmmaker has traveled along with his State-award winning movie Chola. The film features Nimisha Sajayan, Joju George and Akhil Visvanath.

After Chola being featured in the 2019 edition of

Venice Film Festival

at the Orizzonti section , it will be reaching the cinemas on December 6. As per the director the film has thematic similarity with his previous movie S Durga. The director had earlier told us that there is a bridge in Chola that connects S Durga with it. "If S Durga looks at the attitudes and judgements of society, Chola takes us through the struggles, inner thoughts and mindset of the one who is facing a peculiar situation,” he explained.
