Sandra Thomas shared that Lijo Jose Pellissery told her the plot-line for the film ‘Anti-Christ’ with a plan to cast Mammootty in the lead role, however, she was doubtful about the reaction of the audience, as too much violence was involved in the storyline. She further added that, although violence was not her kind of genre, the film ‘ Anti-Christ’ would have been a massive theatre experience for the audience. Sandra Thomas revealed that Mammootty’s character was planned as a church priest for which he would have sported a thick beard and salt and pepper look. However, according to her, the project was dropped as she had an inhibition on the strong violent nature of the film which was reminiscent of the

Hollywood

movie ‘Omen’.

Sandra Thomas said that she was also planning for a movie adaptation of the famous book ‘Khasakkinte Ithihasam’ written by O.V Vijayan and had talks with Mammootty on the same, however, the project was later dropped.
