Saniya Iyappan shares how being Covid-positive made her anxious; she has recovered now

shared news of how when she tested Covid-positive, it left her feeling anxious, but also made her think of the things that we take for granted. The young actor, who was recently shooting for Sooraj Tom film,

with Vishnu Unnikrishanan as her co-star, said that she had tested for it several times during the course of the past several months. It was on her sixth test that the doctor said that she was positive.

She has now recovered and tested negative a few days back, and several film colleagues, including Manju Warrier, Nikhila Vimal and Anna Ben, have posted wishes on her social media.


Speaking about how she had felt “not at all prepared” to be told that she had tested positive, she recounted how it had affected her. “Thoughts about my family, friends and poeple those who I met in last few days kicked in and made me very anxious, I was totally clueless about what’s next. I was sick, tired and devastated at the same time. I went back home, in my room and started counting the days,” she wrote.

She also pointed out the symptoms, saying that she couldn’t watch movies because of a headache that made it “hard to open my eyes even”. “The second day I realized that my sight on the left eye decreased and rashes started showing all over my body, and just to make things worse I was feeling shortness in-breath when sleeping. I never experienced that feeling before. Breathing was so smooth since birth and never appreciated it lol...my anxiety was making me worse because I was not sure that I'll wake up and trust me no one can help you when you are anxious (especially when you are in a room all alone),” she wrote, advising everyone to take care and practise safety protocols, adding “because corona sucks”.
