'Sayanna Varthakal' trailer: An Anurag Kashyap kind of 'dark' treatment!

The trailer of Sayanna Varthakal was finally launched today. Starring Gokul Suresh and Dhyan Sreenivasan, the trailer assures a promising political satire ahead. The trailer hints about the corruption taking place under the Bharat Skill program. Gokul Suresh’s performance is undeniably the most striking factor in the trailer. The trailer was launched by many popular actors including Dulquer Salmaan. “An ordinary man and his battle against an extraordinary system- the tale of Ravi and Dennis. Meanwhile, ‘Sayanna Varthakal’ is directed by debutant Arun Chandu. The movie was stalled for a while due to some problems from the production side and the director has also stepped into his next titled ‘Saajan Bakery Since 1962’.

Arun Chandu was overwhelmed to share the trailer of his maiden directorial venture today. “As you all may know Sayanna Varthakal was the film I conceived before Saajan Bakery, thus making it my first film. I put my heart and soul into it. I projected my ideals, my lineage, and my identity into each layer of this movie, and much to my misfortune, I had to see it get delayed for 2 years because of some technical hitches. But time took a wild turn where it decided to resurrect my movie from most certain extinction and now we are taking a much bigger leap forward. I am certainly blessed to be given a second chance. It gives me great pleasure to present you with the official trailer of Sayanna Varthakal, starring the immensely talented Gokul Suresh, the ever so charismatic Dhyan Sreenivasan, and ever-evolving Aju Varghese!” Arun Chandu wrote on his Facebook handle.

Meanwhile, ‘Sayanna Varthakal’ is produced by Mahfoose MD, Fairose, Bisharath, Yazar, and Noushad, under the banner of D14 Entertainments. The director has crafted the script along with Sachin R Chandran.
