In a report by The Top India, the film's earnings breakdown reveals an underwhelming performance: Day 1 (Fri) - ₹0.20 Cr, Day 2 (Sat) - ₹0.26 Cr, Total Week 1 - ₹0.46 Cr against an estimated budget of Rs 3 crores.

Directed by Manu C. Kumar, the 2023 Malayalam-language film presents a narrative centered around Fathima Noorjahan, portrayed by Kalyani Priyadarshan, a girl from a conservative Muslim family aspiring to be a football commentator. The storyline delves into her challenges amidst societal pressures, seeking to break barriers in a male-dominated profession. Supported by her friend Remya, played by Femina George, Fathima's journey confronts orthodox norms and gender biases.

'Sesham Mikeil Fathima' unfolds the struggles and aspirations of Fathima, highlighting her efforts to carve her path in a field resistant to change. The film, announced in 2022, completed principal photography by November of the same year. Notably, the musical score by Hesham Abdul Wahab, cinematography by Santhana Krishnan Ravichandran, and editing by Kiran Das adds depth to the storyline.

Apart from Kalyani Priyadarshan and Femina George, the movie also features Aneesh G Menon and Shaheen Siddique in significant roles.
