The buzz around ‘L2: Empuraan,’ the highly anticipated sequel to ‘Lucifer,’ is at an all-time high as its release date, March 27, 2025, approaches. Actor Shane Nigam recently shared his excitement for the Prithviraj Sukumaran directorial, revealing that he is eagerly waiting for the film’s release.
In a conversation with Filmy Monks, the 'RDX' star expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “Same as everyone else, I am definitely waiting for ‘L2: Empuraan’. After watching the teaser, my expectations have soared even more.” He further mentioned that he had been anticipating the second installment ever since he watched Lucifer and that the teaser has only intensified his eagerness. “I will watch 'Empuraan' on the first day for sure,” he added.
Meanwhile, the Mohanlal-starrer will have its first show at 6:00 AM IST on March 27, 2025, with global screenings scheduled according to respective time zones. Prithviraj Sukumaran also unveiled a new poster featuring Mohanlal standing before a crowd of police officers, media personnel, and the public, further building anticipation.
Additionally, Mohanlal recently announced that another producer has joined as a distributor for the film. Sharing the news on Instagram, he wrote, “Team L2: Empuraan is delighted to announce our association with the trailblazing market leaders Gokulam Movies to bring this magnum opus to the screens.
