Shane Nigam’s thriller ‘Corona Papers’ gets an OTT release date

Inspired by the Tamil film ‘8 Thottakal’, Priyadashan executed a watchable thriller ‘Corona Papers’ which got much adulation from the audiences although it didn't make wonders at the box office. Happy news for thriller fans as Priyadarshan’s ‘Corona Papers’ will be streaming on a popular OTT platform from May 5 onwards.

Shane Nigam played the lead police character in the movie ‘Corona Papers’ which hit the big screens on April 6 this year. Audiences hailed the performance of Siddique who played the character Shankararaman in the movie and Priyadarshan’s terrific execution was also said to be another highlight of this thriller.

‘Corona Papers’ was also inspired by Akira Kurasawa’s pathbreaking movie ‘Stray Dogs’ which was released in the year 1949. Divakar Mani captured the terrific visuals of the movie which was edited by MS Aiyappan Nair. KP did the music composing of ‘Corona Papers’

‘Corona Papers’ had an ensemble cast that also include Shine Tom Chacko, Jean Lal, Gayathrie, Maniyanpilla Raju, Vijilesh Karayad, Hannah Reji Koshy, and Sandhya Shetty. Although ‘Corona Papers’ cannot be considered a terrific comeback of the legendary director Priyadarshan, it surely surpassed his previous disastrous outing ‘Kunjali Marakkar’ starring Mohanlal in the lead.
