Popular South diva Shanvi Srivastava has roped in to play the leading lady in the upcoming Malayalam film ‘
Mahaveeryar
’, directed by Abrid Shine. She will be sharing the screen with Nivin Pauly and Asif Ali and the actress has joined the cast. The team went on floors today in Jaipur.
Shanvi Srivastava, who is popular in Kannada and Telugu cinema will be marking her debut in Malayalam cinema with ‘Mahaveeryar’. The diva is pretty thrilled about the film and has referred to the opportunity as ‘good luck’.

Shanvi Srivastava began her career in showbiz with the Telugu movie 'Lovely'. Later she ventured into Kannada cinema with 'Chandraleka'. Some of her popular Kannada films include 'Masterpiece', 'Bhale Jodi', ' Saheba', 'Geetha'.
On the work front, Shanvi Srivastava’s last outing was ‘Avane Srimannarayana’.
