Shine Tom Chacko to star in Sohan Seenulal’s political satire ‘Bharatha Circus’ - Exclusive

After getting much adulation from the audience for the character Reji Mathew in the action entertainer ‘Thallumaala’, the Mollywood actor Shine Tom Chacko is all set to headline the upcoming movie ‘Bharatha Circus’ which is directed by Sohan Seenulal.

ETimes got in touch with the actress Saritha Kukku who plays a police character in ‘Bharatha Circus’ and the proficient actor exclusively said, “The film is a political satire that also consists of some investigation elements. So it can be also said that ‘Bharatha Circus’ is a drama thriller.”

Talking further about her character in ‘Bharatha Circus’, Saritha Kukku said, “I will be playing an SI character in the movie, and it's indeed an interesting character that is completely different from the other roles that I have portrayed in films. Also working with Shine Tom Chacko and the rest of the actors in the movie was a wonderful experience for me and I also felt a kind of positive energy during the entire shoot.”

Saritha Kukku added, “The major portions of ‘Bharatha Circus’ is happening inside a police station and I can definitely say that the film will be a completely different experience for the audience both in the terms of its execution style and characterization ”

Helmed by the director-actor Sohan Seenulal, the script of ‘Bharatha Circus’ is written by Muhad Vembayam. The film boasts a strong cast that includes the actors Shine Tom Chacko, Binu Pappu, MA Nishad, Saritha Kukku, Sunil Sukhada, Jaffer Idukki, Aaradhya Ann, Megha Thomas, and Divya Nair.

On the other hand, Sohan Seenulal has previously directed the films ‘Doubles’ and ‘Vanyam’. ‘Doubles’ was released in the year 2011 and had the actors Mammootty and Nadia Moidu in the lead roles.
