Veteran actor-dancer Shobana revisited her most acclaimed film ‘Manichithrathazhu’ recently, and guess what? She developed a new found interest in the song ‘Varuvannilarumee’! Shobana shared that her favourite song in the film was ‘Orumurai’ followed by ‘Pazhamthamizh’, however, revisiting the film has made her fall for ‘Varuvannilarumee’.
Taking to her Instagram handle, Shobana said, “വരുവാനില്ലാരുമീ… അത്രയും മനോഹരമായ വരികൾ.. I saw the movie recently and realised how beautiful this song is.. 25 years ago, the climax song orumurai was my most fav and pazham thamizh- in ahiri was the next.. Though I have appreciated this beautiful song only now, the audiences have understood the musical value looong ago.. What a remarkable singing by Chitra ji @kschithra ..
