Reportedly, The Teynampet police have chosen not to take any legal measures against the domestic helper employed by actor Shobana, following a cash theft incident at her residence. On Thursday,
Shobana decided to retract her complaint and refrained from pressing charges against the maid.
Living in an independent house on Sriman Srinivasa Road, Teynampet, the actress filed the complaint regarding theft on Thursday.
Reportedly, Rs 41,000 was stolen from her house, and her maid, hailing from Cuddalore, was accused of the theft. The maid even confessed to the crime to the police officials after further interrogation.
Later Shobana forgave the culprit and said that she doesn’t want any further cases charged against the maid. Shobana reportedly said to the police officials that the stolen money will be compensated from her maid’s salary. The actress has also reportedly decided not to terminate the maid from her job and continue work in her house itself.
Reportedly, Shobana’s mother Anandam’s money was getting stolen regularly for the past few months and this was the reason why the police case was filed by the actress. According to the sources, Shobana’s maid has been sending the stolen money to her daughter’s account with the help of the actor’s driver.
