Mollywood film industry is having its first-ever campus time travel movie which is titled ‘Trimurthy’ and the national award-winning playback singer Nanjiyamma is making her acting debut with the movie directed by Sarath Lal Nemibhuvan.

Although Nanjiyamma played a small role in the film ‘Ayyappanum Koshiyum’, it will be the first time that the national award-winning playback singer will be acting in the main role in a movie. Nanjiyamma will be also crooning a song in ‘Trimurthy’ that consists of a total of 21 songs and the director Sarath Lal is also the music director for this campus time traveler film.

Apart from Nanjiyamma, another 50 or more new singers will be crooning to the songs in ‘Trimurthy’. The film is said to have some humor elements along with thrills and chills. The film is told in the backdrop of campus and features more than 300 new faces in both the acting and technical department.

Helmed by the debutant director SSarath Lal Nemibhuvan, the screenplay and dialogues of ‘Trimurthy’ is penned by the newcomers Amesh Ramesh, and Mahesh Mohan. Appu Joshi is roped in as the cinematographer and the editing section will be handled by Anto Jose.

Meanwhile, the expectation levels for ‘Trimurthy’ are high among the audiences as the Malayalam film industry lacks such a time travel genre. The previous attempt at the same genre was with the movie ‘Who’ which was directed by Ajay Devaloka. Lijo Jose Pellissery’s ‘Churuli’ also had the same elements of a time travel movie.
