Mollywood young and talented actor Dulquer Salmaan has made his sophomore acting debut in the Telugu film industry with the romantic drama ‘Sita Ramam’ and the film is getting much positive feedback from the audience all over including the Malayalis. According to the sources, the Dulquer Salmaan starrer has raked in more than Rs 1 crore at the Kerala box office.

Although the reports have not yet been confirmed by the makers, according to the Twitter forums that track box office collections, Dulquer Salmaan’s romantic drama ‘Sita Ramam’ has earned more than Rs 1 crore at the Kerala box office on its third day of theatrical run.

‘Sita Ramam’ received many positive responses from the Kerala audience and the netizens called it ‘One of the best romantic dramas recently’. Dulquer Salmaan also reportedly said that ‘Sita Ramam’ will be the last romantic film that he commits and reportedly he will start shooting for the Malayalam action entertainer ‘King of Kotha’ soon.
Dulquer Salmaan played a character named Ram in ‘Sita Ramam’ and the film was directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. The story written by the director himself revolves around the central character Lieutenant Ram and his love relationship with a girl named Sita.
Apart from Dulquer Salmaan, ‘Sita Ramam’ also featured the actors Mrunal Thakur, Rashmika Mandanna, Bhoomika Chawla, Keshav Deepak, Tharun Bhascker Dhaassyam, and Sachin Khedekar in pivotal roles.
On the other hand, there are rumors that Dulquer Salmaan’s upcoming Malayalam film ‘King of Kotha’ will mark the acting debut of the actress Samantha. The makers have not yet confirmed this matter. ‘King of Kotha’ is directed by Abhilash Joshiy and the film is touted as a gangster drama.
