Srindaa on choosing characters: I always try to look at it from the perspective, how important the role is to the essence of its story

Be it the tough Jinsy in ‘22 Female Kottayam’ or the naive Susheela in ‘1983’ or the wife Susan, who has reached the threshold of her tolerance in ‘Paapam Cheyyathavar Kalleriyatte’, Srindaa has always chosen characters that have substance. Srindaa is a perfect combination of beauty and brains and the actress is in news lately for her performance in ‘Kuruthi’.
In an exclusive interview with ETimes, Srindaa spoke about her process of choosing a project.
Srindaa is someone who has chosen roles, irrespective of the screen time and despite that, she has stood out in the crowd. The actress shares that screen time has never really bothered her. “When I am approached to play a character, I always try to look at it from the perspective, how important the role is to the essence of its story. Be it five minutes or being a throughout character like Sumathi, what matters for me is how interesting the script is and how important the character is to the story, And definitely the team,” Srindaa shared.
The actress also revealed that she was ‘very excited’ when she was called to play the role in Kuruthi’ and also added that each and every character in the film holds pivotal role in the story.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Srindaa will be next seen in ‘Bheeshma Parvam’. The upcoming film is helmed by Amal Neerad and has Megastar Mammootty in the lead role. The team had filmed half of the portions a couple of months ago.
