Supriya Menon pens an emotional note on her birthday

Popular movie producer and Prithviraj Sukumaran’s wife Supriya Menon turned a year older this Sunday (July 31). She celebrated her birthday in London, with her husband Prithviraj Sukumaran, and also attended Lady Gaga’s live show. Post the birthday celebration, Supriya Menon penned an emotional note, speaking about how special her father made her feel on birthdays. Her father passed away in 2021, and Supriya Menon shared some stunning pictures she had taken with him prior to her wedding day, back in 2011.

Taking to her social media handle, Supriya Menon penned, “Birthdays have always been special in my household. Dad (also ma) made me feel on top of the world. I always got new clothes, gifts, superb birthday parties with cake for every year growing up. It made me feel celebrated and well special. But this year the man who made me feel like this is no longer with me. I don’t know whether to celebrate today or sit and cry as I can’t deal with his loss. These pictures are from the night before my wedding. Dad and me dancing on my impromptu mehandi night where a friend compiled a play list and another friend took pictures. While my dad was super stressed with the impending wedding arrangements he took out a few minutes to let loose & dance with me. This is who he was. Always special and always making me feel special. Thank you to all of you for writing in and wishing me. I see all your love & warmth. Trying to celebrate today as Daddy would have�� (sic).”
