’, after successfully completing the filming of the movie in just 30 days, amid the pandemic. Directed by Sunil Ibrahim, ‘Roy’ went on floors by September 5 and the team was filming following the safety protocols. The previous day (October 6), the team wrapped up after successfully completing the filming. The director has earlier shared that 80 percent of the movie will be shot indoors, and the rest in a controlled environment.

Speaking to us earlier, director Sunil Ibrahim revealed that ‘Roy’ is a family thriller. “The movie revolves around the titular character. Roy is an introvert, a bit strange and silent and his wife has a different perspective about life. The movie will explore their ‘peculiar’ relationship and also the incidents that take place in their life later,” Sunil Ibrahim told us.

Meanwhile, Suraj Venjaramoodu will essay the lead Roy and Sija

Rose George

has roped in to play the female lead. As per the reports, the movie will also feature actors Shine Tom Chacko and Rony David in supporting roles. The movie is produced by Sajeesh Manjeri and Sanoob K Yousef, under the banner of Nettooraan Films and Hippo Motion pictures.
