‘Suriya 45’: Indrans and Swasika roped in for RJ Balaji’s film

After a long gap of 12 years, the Mollywood actor Indrans is all set to play a major role in a Tamil film and this time it’s in Suriya’s most-awaited RJ Balaji’s directorial film. Along with Indrans, the talented actress Swasika will be also playing a pivotal role in ‘Suriya 45’.


The makers announced that Indrans and Swasika are roped in for the Suriya starrer via their official Twitter handle. The Tweet read, “The stage is set, and the stars are aligning! Welcoming the legendary #Indrans and the versatile #Swasika on board for #Suriya45. Get ready for an exciting and extraordinary journey! @Suriya_offl @trishtrashers @dop_gkvishnu @SaiAbhyankkar @RJ_Balaji @prabhu_sr.”


Indrans and Swasika also shared the update via their Instagram handles. The post was soon flooded with comments from fans. One comment read, “Most deserving peoples.” Hailing Swasika’s performance in the movie ‘Lubber Pandhu’, one wrote, “Lubber Pandhu Fame On Board.” Another comment read, “One more Golden feather in ur Career. All The Best Dear.”

Tentatively titled as ‘Suriya 45’, the RJ Balaji’s directorial is surely one of the most awaited films of 2025. Trisha will be playing the female lead character in the Suriya starrer and Sai Abhyankkar is the music director of RJ Balaji’s directorial. Earlier AR Rahman was said to be part of the movie as the music director, later the makers officially confirmed that the ‘Aasa Koodu’ fame is roped in for the project.


On the other hand, Suriya faced a hit back recently with the underwhelming performance of his most-awaited action drama movie ‘Kanguva’. Directed by Siva, the period action film received several criticisms from the audiences and even from the fans. The movie also performed poorly at the box office. Fans are eagerly waiting for Suriya’s comeback with the RJ Balaji’s directorial and Karthik Subbaraj’s film.
