Popular pan-Indian actress Tamannaah Bhatia is making her debut in Malayalam cinema, with the upcoming untitled film helmed by Arun Gopy. The film has gone on floors and Tamannaah Bhatia too has joined the sets. The shoot is happening in Kerala’s Athirapally and the actress recently shared a picture from the location! The upcoming untitled film will feature Dileep and Tamannaah Bhatia in lead roles.
Helmed by Arun Gopy, the upcoming film is touted to be an action thriller, and the story is largely set in north India.
Speaking to Kochi Times earlier, Arun Gopy spoke about the reason why he cast Tamannaah Bhatia as the leading lady in the film. “We approached her feeling that she was most ideally suitable for the character. She too, felt that it was a role that would fit her well and she was happy to come on. Her character will be speaking some Malayalam and Hindi,” he said.
After completing the Kerala schedule, the team will be moving to Mumbai, Ahmedabad, and Jaipur, among other locations in Rajasthan.
Actors Dino Morea, Sarath Kumar, Sidhique, Rajeev Ankur Singh, Amit Tiwari, Easwari Rao, VTV Ganesh, Lena, Aryann Santosh, Darasing Khurana, Kalabhavan Shajohn, and Sarath Sabha too are part of the cast.
Although Tamannaah Bhatia is making her debut in Malayalam, there are high hopes for her performance, as she is someone who has seamlessly transitioned between different genres, regions, and languages,
On the work front, she was recently seen in ‘Plan A Plan B’ opposite Riteish Deshmukh.
