On the technical front, the cinematography of ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’ is done by Don Paul P. The editing is done by Kannan Mohan. The music is composed by Ajmal Hasbulla, and sound design is done by Renganaath Ravee. ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’ is expected to go on floors very soon.
Meanwhile, the makers are yet to announce the cast. The plot of the film is also currently kept under wraps.
On the other hand, ‘Mandakini’ hit the theatres on May 24. The film received mixed reviews from the audience. ETimes rated the film 2.5 out of 5 and wrote, “Somewhere Mandakini had an interesting thread about a young couple, played by Althaf Salim and Anarkali Marikar, who unwittingly learns more about each other than they expected on their wedding night. But the film focuses inexplicably on extended drinking sequences and simplistic jokes and loses out on the story. On a positive note, the film showcases strong women without judgment and in a good light. Rajalakshmi was a young widow who raised two children, and she drinks and runs a driving school business, and won’t take any nonsense from anybody. Aromal and Ambili have sweet moments as a new couple.”
