The makers unveil first look poster of 'Meppadiyan’

The first look poster of Unni Mukundan’s upcoming film ‘

’ was unveiled today, on Republic Day by Mohanlal, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Dulquer Salmaan.

In the poster, we can see Unni Mukundan and Saiju Kurup having tea at a local restaurant. In a previous interaction with Etimes, Mukundan revealed that he will be playing an ordinary young man named Jayakrishnan and he is a mechanic. The poster asserts the same and looks promising.

“Here’s the first look poster of #Meppadiyan, starring @Iamunnimukundan and directed by Vishnu Mohan. First production venture by Unni Mukundan Films Pvt Ltd. Best wishes Unni Mukundan and team,” Mohanlal wrote, launching the poster.

The film is directed by debutant Vishnu Mohan. It also marks the maiden production venture of the Unni under his production banner- Unni Mukundan Film Pvt Ltd.

Actors including Indrans, Saiju Kurup, Aju Varghese and Anju Kurian will be essaying pivotal roles. On the other hand, Vijay Babu, Kalabhavan Shajohn, Aparna Janardhanan, Nisha Sarang, Kundara Johny, Major Ravi, Sreejith Ravi, Kottayam Ramesh, Pauly Wilson, Krishna Prasad and Manohari Amma will be essaying the supporting cast in the film.

Neil D’Cunha is the cinematographer. Shameer Muhammad is editing the film, Rahul Subramanian is composing the music. Meanwhile, the team has wrapped the shoot in December and the post-production activities are underway.
