The third one is the upcoming 'The Raja Saab' with Prabhas. All three films are very different from each other. The actress recently shared in an interview with Galatta Plus on how she managed 3 films in a year.
Handling different genres together
Talking about working on all three films together Malavika said it was challenging but also exciting. She said “All three were such different genres and such different films but it came down to sort of finding the specific character and being authentic to that character.” She explained that she focused on understanding each role clearly. She did not want one character to affect another.

Keeping acting simple and real
Malavika also spoke about her acting style. She said she was careful not to change her acting too much just because the film genre was different. She said she was not trying to be loud just because a film needed it. She wanted her performance to feel natural. She believed that being honest to the character was more important than showing extra drama.
Malavika on the idea of a 'Perfect launch'
The actor also spoke about her early days in the industry. She said she once believed in the idea of a perfect launch. She said “You see something like
Deepika Padukone’s debut in 'Om Shanti Om' and think even I want something like that a big superstar a grand film.” Malavika now believes that there is nothing like a 'Perfect film' and everything is upto the 'film gods'. She said that even collaborations with top actors or filmmakers can flop.
Malavika shared that after Rajinikanth's 'Petta' many roles she got were similar sister roles. She even said she rejected a film from big producers because she did not like the script. She was told that was the best she could get. Later Master came into her life and changed things. Malavika said “People will feed you ideas but after everything you have to go with your gut.”
