The 'naadan' superhero recently bumped into the superhero of cricket MS Dhoni. The duo met while MS Dhoni was in Kerala. The ‘Minnal Murali’ star Tovino Thomas was elated to meet Dhoni and shared a picture he took with the former cricketer. Tovino Thomas shared a photo on social media and penned, “Time spent "Cool ". Had a great experience spending time with Captain Cool. That very persona we have seen on screen - cool, composed, and spontaneous brilliance is the man himself in person,” Tovino Thomas said.

Malayalam filmmaker Mahesh Soman passed away on January 9, at the age of 59. He has directed only one film ‘Sundhari Kakka’, a comedy entertainer, which garnered much popularity for its content and star cast, which includes Suresh Gopi, Innocent, and Jagadish. M-Town celebs paid homage to Mahesh Soman.

Lijo Jose Pellissery was all praise for Mammootty’s performance in the 1997 film ‘Bhoothakkannadi’. In a recent interview, Lijo Jose Pellissery stated that Mammootty’s performance in ‘Bhoothakkannadi’ can be considered as one of the best performances in world cinema.

Shaji Kailas, who is currently directing ‘Hunt’ has shared some interesting details regarding Renji Panicker’s role in the film. The Bhavana starrer has Renji Panicker in a pivotal role, and Shaji Kailas confirmed that it is a ‘new avatar’ altogether.

“We were, we are, we will be together!! It was a serene evening in 1990. That's when Renji and I sat down for the first time to discuss the possibility of collaborating on a film. Ever since then, we have held each other's backs and have played a major role in our respective careers by constantly forcing each other to push our creative boundaries. Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer ‘Kappa’ is running successfully in the cinemas and has headed towards the fourth week of screening. The Shaji Kailas’ directorial has locked its OTT release date. ‘Kaapa’ will start streaming on a popular OTT platform on January 19.
