THIS Antony Varghese starrer to clash with Mohanlal’s ‘Barroz’

This Onam, the Malayalam film industry is set for an exciting box office clash as Antony Varghese starrer ‘Kondal’ will go head-to-head with Mohanlal’s much-anticipated directorial debut ‘Barroz’. Expectations are running high for both films, promising an exciting festival season for moviegoers.

Mohanlal’s ‘Barroz’, a fantasy drama, marks the veteran actor’s first venture as a director. The film is set to release in 3D on September 13, 2024. The movie has been generating considerable buzz, not just because of Mohanlal’s directorial debut, but also due to its intriguing premise penned by 'My Dear Kuttichathan' fame Jijo Punnoose.


On the other hand, ‘Kondal’, featuring Antony Varghese, is slated for release on September 12, 2024. Directed by debutant Ajith Mampally, ‘Kondal’ is an action-packed revenge drama set against the backdrop of the sea. The film’s storyline and dynamic action sequences are expected to captivate audiences, positioning it as a strong contender in the Onam release lineup.
