Beginning his career with an uncredited role, Muhammad Kutty Ismail Paniparambil's transformation into Megastar Mammootty was definitely not easy. A rare picture of the actor from his college days is making rounds on social media.
The person who is an alumnus of the college shared the photo and reminisced the time a lean, tall and young Mammootty arrived at filmmaker I V Sasi's house, seeking a chance to act in a movie. In the photo going viral, the person on the left with the beard is Mammootty and the other with glasses is his friend, Viswambhara who was the collector of Ernakulam.
In previous interviews given by the actor, he always said that he still asks for opportunities in movies, as he is always looking for opportunities to work with veterans like
Adoor Gopalakrishnan, M T Vasudevan Nair, Hariharan, and other such filmmakers. Mammootty is currently busy shooting for his upcoming movie, 'One,' in which he is expected to be essaying the Chief Minister of the State. The three-times National award-winning actor is also getting ready for the release of his film 'Mamangam' that hits screens on 21st November.
