Breaks records and delays OTT releaseWith global gross collections now exceeding Rs 220 crore, as reported by Mint, the makers have opted to extend the film’s theatrical run, pushing its OTT release beyond the typical four-week window.
Box office gloryAs reported by the Sacnilk, ‘Thudarum’ opened with a solid Rs 5.25 crore on Day 1 and surged over the weekend, collecting Rs 8.6 crore and Rs 10.5 crore on Saturday and Sunday respectively.
The film closed its first week with a stunning Rs 51.4 crore net in India, with over Rs 50 crore from the Malayalam version alone.
Despite a typical weekday dip, Week 2 saw Rs 35.35 crore in collections—a strong hold with only a 31% drop. Week 3 maintained momentum with a Rs 20.8 crore net, driven by strong weekend numbers.
