Tinu Pappachan announces new film, 'Kollam Kotta Company'; first look poster revealed

Tinu Pappachan, best known for his films, ‘Swathanthryam Ardharathriyil’, and ‘Ajagajantharam’, has announced his next venture. On Sunday, February 8, the filmmaker dropped a first look poster and announced the title as well. Tinu Pappachan's next film has been titled ‘Kollam Kotta Company’.

The first look poster features four shirtless young men captured mid-air in different stages of a jump, with a yellow background. One can also see the top half of an older man’s head at the bottom of the frame.

“Unveiling the first look poster of KOLLAM KOTTA COMPANY. Tinu Pappachan’s Next,” the makers said, sharing the poster. However, they have kept the cast details under wraps as of now.

According to some unconfirmed reports, ‘Kollam Kotta Company’ will feature Sajin Gopu, known for his roles in ‘Aavesham’, ‘Ponman’ and ‘Painkili’ in the lead role. Tinu Pappachan had earlier revealed that he is filming for his next, featuring newcomers. In May 2025, Tinu Pappachan dropped a photo of a clapboard with the scene number 55 written on it. “Dear all. After Swatanthryam Ardharathriyil, Ajagajantharam, and Chaaver, I have begun shooting my new film, with newcomers in the lead roles. Teaser coming soon).”

Meanwhile, on the technical front, ‘Kollam Kotta Company’ has cinematography by Rahil, editing by Deepu Joseph, music composed by Justin Varghese, and action choreography by Kalai Kingson.

Given that Tinu Pappachan’s previous films ‘Swathanthryam Ardharathriyil’, ‘Ajagajantharam,’ and ‘Chaaver’, were high on action, the upcoming film is also expected to be driven by action. The first look poster hints at an actioner in the making.
