Tovino Thomas' 'Ajayante Randam Moshanam' set for clash with Mohanlal's 'Barroz'; reports

Expectations are high as Mohanlal's ‘Barroz’ and Tovino Thomas' ‘Ajayante Randam Moshanam,’ gear up for a potential clash at the box office. Reportedly set to release on September 12th, 2024, both films promise riveting narratives and stellar performances and come under the fantasy genre.

According to Pinkvilla, the producer Listin Stephen of Magic Frames has revealed that Tovino Thomas' ambitious project, ‘Ajayante Randam Moshanam’ (ARM), is slated for a September release, setting the stage for an epic showdown with Mohanlal's highly anticipated ‘Barroz.’ This clash, which is officially announced to be hitting the big screens on September 12.


‘Barroz,’ directed by Mohanlal himself, offers a fantastical tale mixed with legend and mystery. The film follows the journey of Barroz, a guardian entrusted with protecting Vasco da Gama's hidden treasure for centuries.

On the other hand, ‘Ajayante Randam Moshanam’ ventures into the world of adventure and folklore, led by the versatile Tovino Thomas. Directed by Jithin Lal, the film showcases Tovino in a triple role spanning three generations of heroes—Maniyan, Kunjikelu, and Ajayan—united in their quest to safeguard a sacred treasure in Northern Kerala. With a narrative rich in tradition and spectacle, the film marks a promising addition to Tovino's filmography.

Meanwhile, Tovino Thomas’ recent outing was with the Jr. Lal’s directorial ‘Nadikar’ which is unfortunately getting poor responses from the audiences. Mohanlal’s previous outing ‘Malaikottai Vaaliban’ also failed to impress the viewers.
