Yash’s upcoming movie, ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups,’ directed by
Geetu Mohandas, is a star-studded gangster action movie with a predominantly female cast. After Malayalam star
Tovino Thomas clarified that he is not part of the flick, he recently shared why everyone speculated that he was in it in the first place.
While speaking with Galatta Plus, the ‘Lokah’ actor shared that he gave a simple and straight answer. He said, “I do not tell lies. I might hide some truths, but I don’t tell lies. I am not playing the villain, nor am I part of Toxic.”
Why fans thought Tovino Thomas was in ‘Toxic’
The confusion started because Tovino kept sharing posts of the film on social media. Many people thought this meant he was acting in it. But the real reason is his close bond with Geetu Mohandas. He said if he was part of the film, he would either say it or simply avoid the question. He added, “The thing is Geetu Mohandas is like a sister to me. We are very close, and whenever she posts the posters on social media, I will just share it. That is why people think I am part of Toxic.”
