a month ago, will resume shooting for the movie in December. The film’s shoot is set to resume once the actor completes his portions of his current project Kaanekkaane.
“We have about 16 more days of shoot left and currently we finished editing whatever we have shot till now. Tovino is maintaining his look to ensure continuity for the role,” says Rohith.
The movie has
Divya Pillai as the female lead and had shot for almost a month when Tovino’s injury forced them to stop the shoot. “We had shot in Piravom. The basic story happens in a house and the area around it. Kala is probably the first few films to go on floors after the lockdown rules were eased. So, it was a seamless shoot experience, especially because the movie was designed keeping in the pandemic restrictions in mind,” says Rohith. “We had shot following all Covid-19 protocols and had aimed to finish the movie in a single schedule. But now, because there has been a break, we have to test everybody again and go through the whole process before we resume shoot.”
On the movie, Tovino had earlier told us, “It’s got a simple story but has a lot of layers. It’s about how people behave with others. For instance, how you react with your parents wouldn’t be how you would be with your children or your friends or your workers or a dog.”
