’s release, and the film’s teaser and song have already been the talking point. The teaser gave a gist of how the characters in the film are going to be, and how the central character acquires the name ‘Theevandi’, after his image of being a chain smoker spreads across the place he lives in.

The song Jeevamshamayi, composed by Kailas Menon, has become a rage among music lovers, as its romantic undertone makes one fall in love with it. Its video song has recently garnered around 3 million views on Youtube. It is sung by Shreya Ghoshal and Harisankar KS.

The latest we know about Theevandi is that the film is expected to release in theatres on May 4.
