‘Turbo’ box office collections day 3: Mammootty’s action flick races past Rs 13 crores

The latest action drama ‘Turbo,’ starring Mammootty and directed by Vysakh, is making waves at the box office with impressive earnings.

According to Sacnilk, the film has collected more than Rs 13 crores within just three days of its release, showcasing its strong performance and popularity among audiences.

‘Turbo’ opened with a strong start, earning an estimated Rs 9.95 crore net in India over the first two days. On its third day, the film continued to attract large crowds, adding approximately Rs 4.00 crore net to its total earnings. This brings the movie’s total Kerala box office collection to a substantial Rs 13.95 crore in just four days.

The film's magnificent box office performance is reflected in its occupancy rates. On Saturday, May 25, 2024, "Turbo" had an overall Malayalam occupancy rate of 41.43%. The breakdown of the third-day occupancy rates in theaters shows a progressive increase throughout the day, with morning shows at 26.26%, afternoon shows at 39.37%, evening shows at 48.14%, and night shows peaking at 51.95%.

‘Turbo’ boasts an ensemble cast featuring Mammootty in the lead role, supported by Sunil Varma, Anjana Jayaprakash, Kabir Duhan Singh, and Raj B Shetty. The gripping story, penned by Midhun Manuel Thomas, combined with high-octane action sequences, has received good responses from the audiences, driving the film's box office success.
