Two of Malayalam cinema's legends Mammootty and Mohanlal will share the screen in the spy thriller movie, ‘Patriot’. As the two stars will be seen coming together after a long gap, the ‘Kalamkaval’ star recently shared his experience working with Mohanlal.
Mammootty talks about working with Mohanlal
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Mammootty spoke about the first day of shooting in Colombo. He said it felt like a routine day. He shared, “We are normal human beings, close friends.” “It was normal, nothing special about it," he added.

Even though they are close in real life, their roles in the film are very different. Mammootty explained it clearly. He said, “The two hooligans coming from two sides and shaking hands cannot be because we’re playing friends, it is an entirely different kind of role.” This means their characters will not be friendly. They come from different sides and have their own stories. This makes the film more interesting.
Cast of ‘Patriot’
Apart from Mammootty and Mohanlal, the film also has a strong supporting cast. Actors like Fahadh Faasil, Kunchacko Boban, Nayanthara, and Revathy will be seen in important roles. The trailer already suggests that each character plays a key part in the story.
