'Ullozhukku’ box office collections day 1: Parvathy Thiruvothu starrer mints more than Rs 30 lakhs in India

Christo Tomy's directorial drama ‘Ullozhukku’ has made a notable impact at the box office on its first day and it is impressive since the film has been mounted on a low budget.


According to Sacnilk, the film, starring Parvathy Thiruvothu in the lead role, garnered Rs 31 lakhs in India, with the India gross amount reaching Rs 35 lakhs. The worldwide collections for the film on day one also stand at Rs 35 lakhs. ‘Ullozhukku’ has shown promising signs of success. The film has received positive reviews, which have contributed to its initial box office momentum.

‘Ullozhukku’ features a stellar cast including Urvashi, Prashant Murali, and Arjun Radhakrishnan. The story revolves around Anju, a young wife portrayed by Parvathy Thiruvothu, who is dissatisfied with her marriage. Seeking happiness outside her marital bonds, Anju finds solace in the attention of her lover, Rajeev, played by Arjun Radhakrishnan. However, even after her husband's death, Anju remains trapped in the confines of her marriage due to her overbearing mother-in-law, Leelamma, a role brought to life by Urvashi.
