‘Ullozhukku’ box office collections day 15: Urvashi starrer collects Rs 3.67 crores

Despite facing fierce competition from Prabhas' blockbuster ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, the Urvashi starrer ‘Ullozhukku’ is holding its ground with commendable box office numbers.

As per the Sacnilk website, the film has minted Rs 3.67 crores globally in its first 15 days. In India, the net collections stand at Rs 3.25 crores, with the gross collections mirroring the worldwide figure of Rs 3.67 crores. On the 15th day alone, the film garnered Rs 5 lakhs from Kerala.

‘Ullozhukku’ (transl. Undercurrent) is a gripping drama penned and helmed by Christo Tomy.

The narrative of ‘Ullozhukku’ unfolds in a flood-ravaged region of Kerala, where a woman and her daughter-in-law face the daunting task of burying a loved one. As the incessant rains cause heavy flooding, the burial is postponed, leading to the unearthing of long-buried secrets and lies that threaten to tear the family apart. The film masterfully portrays the emotional and physical turmoil faced by the characters, bringing to light the deep-seated issues within the family.

The film features powerhouse performances from Urvashi and Parvathy Thiruvothu, supported by a talented ensemble cast including Arjun Radhakrishnan, Alencier Ley Lopez, Prashanth Murali, and Jaya Kurup.
