‘Ullozhukku’ box office collections day 7: Parvathy starrer collects Rs 2.42 crore worldwide

The Parvathy and Urvashi starrer 'Ullozhukku' is making impressive strides at the box office, maintaining a strong hold even in the face of stiff competition from the Prabhas starrer 'Kalki 2898 AD'.

According to the Sacnilk website, 'Ullozhukku' hascollected a commendable Rs 2.42 crores worldwide within its first seven days. The India Net collections stand at Rs 2.14 crores, with the India Gross collections mirroring the worldwide figure of Rs 2.42 crore. Notably, on its seventh day, the film collected Rs 14 lakhs solely from Kerala.

Released on June 21, 'Ullozhukku' is directed by Christo Tomy and has received an overwhelmingly positive response from audiences. The film's compelling narrative is set in a flood-stricken region of Kerala, where a woman and her daughter-in-law face the daunting task of burying a loved one. The devastating floods, however, force a postponement of the burial, leading to the unearthing of long-buried secrets and lies that threaten to unravel the family's unity.

The movie features stellar performances from lead actors Urvashi and Parvathy Thiruvothu, supported by an impressive cast that includes Arjun Radhakrishnan, Alancier Ley Lopez, and Jaya Kurup. Christo Tomy's stellar direction is said to be the main highlight of this intense drama movie.
