Unni Mukundan turned 35 on Thursday (Sep 22) and a bunch of his upcoming films was announced on the occasion. Among them, were the Jayaraj directorials. Speaking to ETimes earlier, Unni Mukundan had confirmed that he will be teaming up with ace filmmaker Jayaraj for not one, but three consecutive films and the titles were announced last day.
Unni Mukundan’s films with Jayaraj are titled, ‘Pramadhavanam’, ‘Mehfil’, and ‘Kadhikan’. The title posters launched on Thursday confirm that all three are unique and exciting films.

In an earlier conversation with ETimes, Unni Mukundan had spoke about his association with the National award-winning filmmaker Jayaraj. “I’ve completed two films with him. And I could say without a doubt that it was the finest I have done till date. He is a genius, and working with him has really helped me to function in the best way possible for my own production 'Shefeekkinte Santhosham'. While working with him, I saw how things happen and how filmmaking is and that really reflected on my working pattern with ‘Shefeekkinte Santhosham’. And I would be doing a lot more films with him because I really want to learn because it's a great space for an actor to learn and perform,” Unni Mukundan told ETimes.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Unni Mukundan was recently filming for ‘Malikappuram’, an upcoming film helmed by Vishnu Sasi Shankar.
