Unni Mukundan on working with Samantha in ‘Yashoda’: She had a lot of action sequences, and they weren’t easy

’. Unni Mukundan, who has completed his portions for the film speaks to ETimes, about his experience working with the team and Samantha.

“I’ve completed filming for ‘Yashoda’. Samantha is a very talented actor. It was an honour to work with her. She has done some really good work for the film,” Unni Mukundan said.

The ‘Meppadiyan’ actor also stated that he was amazed by Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s performance in the celebrated series ‘The Family Man’, “I am totally impressed by her part in ‘The Family Man’.

Speaking about his experience working with Samantha in ‘Yashoda’, Unni Mukundan said, “Samantha is extremely hardworking. She had a lot of action sequences in ‘Yashoda’, and they weren’t easy. When you do a certain kind of action, it does take a toll on you. But she was very committed and I saw it in person.”

Touted to be a sci-fi action thriller, the first teaser from the Samantha Ruth Prabhu starrer was launched a while ago, and it had grabbed the attention of the netizens. Venkat is choreographing the stunt sequences for the film.

Unni Mukundan has roped in to play the role of Gautham in the film. When asked about his role in the film Unni Mukundan shared, “It is a very meaty role for me as well, and I really hope that it satisfies the audience.”

‘Yashoda’ also features Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, Sampath Raj, Shatru, Madhurima, Kalpika Ganesh, Divya Sripada, and, Priyanka Sharma in some pivotal roles. The film is hitting the cinemas on August 12, in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi languages.
