Unni Mukundan’s ‘Shefeekkinte Santhosham’ first look promises a feel-good family drama

Unni Mukundan’s sophomore production venture ‘Shefeekkinte Santhosham’ is helmed by the debutant Anup Pandalam and the first look poster the makers unveiled on the last day promises a feel-good family drama with a set of relatable characters.

Unni Mukundan took to his official Instagram handle to unveil the poster for his second production venture and penned a note that read, “Extremely happy to share the first look poster of our ‘Shefeekkinte Santhosham’."

The first look features a funny family moment where the younger son is being bathed in water and Unni Mukundan’s character filming the whole hilarious situation. The poster promises a light-hearted family drama which is a tad similar to the actor’s debut production venture ‘Meppadiyan’.

‘Shafeekkinte Santhosham’ will have Unni Mukundan as the lead character named Shafeek who is a Dubai returnee. Previously in an exclusive interview with Kochi Times, the director Anup opened up by saying that ‘Shefeekinte Santhosham’ will have some comic moments and Unni Mukundan will be seen as a fun character that will be relatable to most of the audience.
Bankrolled by Unni Mukundan’s production banner, ‘Shefeekkinte Santhosham’ features several ace actors including Manoj K Jayan, Divya Pillai, Bala, Athmiya Rajan, Shaheen Sidhique, Mithun Ramesh, Sminu Sijo, and Jordy Poonjar.
Meanwhile, Unni Mukundan’s previous outing was with the Mohanlal starrer suspense drama ‘12th Man’ which was helmed by the director Jeethu Joseph. The actor has a host of highly ambitious projects in the pipeline that includes ‘Pappa’, ‘Bruce Lee’, ‘Yashoda’, and ‘Ek Din’.
